BACKGROUND
Infra Invest is an Investment Fund Manager specialized in projects and assets in the fields of infrastructure and power in Africa. Infra Invest deployed successfully its first Fund ARIF with the commitment of a total investment of €45m in a diversified portfolio of 4 companies covering strategic sectors including Wind, Port Terminals, and Industries related to infrastructures.
Since its inception in 2008, Infra Invest’s core activity is the management of investment funds dedicated to infrastructure and power in Africa. Our mission consists mainly in originating, executing and monitoring equity transactions in relation with infrastructure and power projects and assets at different stages of their life cycle (Development, Pre-construction, Greenfield, and Brownfield).
As a Fund Manager and Investment Advisor, our main partners are the Long-term Investors (including the Development Finance Institutions) interested by investment in infrastructure and power projects/assets in Africa offering: i) Attractive reward/ risk investment profile, ii) Exposure to a diversified portfolio, iii) Strong positive Economic, Environmental and Social impacts, and iv) Capacity to generate steady and attractive yields for investors.
Our footprint materialized with the creation of ARIF, our first fund dedicated to infrastructure and power assets focusing on the regions of North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa, closed end of 2010 with the support of our Sponsor and Parent Company Royale Marocaine d’Assurance (RMA) and five renowned development financial institutions: African Development Bank (AfDB), European Investment Bank (EIB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), Proparco, and Bio. The Fund has been deployed successfully with a total investment commitment of €50m in five companies covering strategic sectors (Wind, Solar, Port Terminals, and Industries related to infrastructures).
